Wailin Storms "Sick City" CD

Gloomy, graveyard punk? Southern gothic post-punk? Danzig meets noise rock? Whatever you wanna call it, we really like it, and this is one killer album!

It's not hard to make a Danzig comparison to Justin Storms' muscular singing on these songs, though his vocal style is more a haunted wail rather than an unholy bellow. Musically, it's dark, heavy, emotional, noisy, brooding... and the songs are truly excellent.
If any of this sounds like it might be up your alley, this is a great place to start checking out the WS catalog. This gets our highest recommendation!
